The product, in the report: Creations summer evening 4 in 1 convertible sleigh crib in antique black

I purchased the Creations Summer Evening 4 in 1 convertible sleigh crib in antique black in November 2012. My son has been sleeping in it since he was 3 months old (born [REDACTED]) and he just turned 1 last week, so in the 9 months he’s been using it we never had a problem until a couple days ago. My son starting screaming like I’ve never heard before only a few minutes after putting him in his crib for a nap. I went in to find his leg trapped above his knee and twisted in the slats on the back side up against the wall. I pulled the crib out from the wall and tried to remove his leg, but it wouldn’t budge at all. My husband and I tried to wiggle it free for about 5-10 minutes to no avail, fearing that his little leg would break or cut off circulation, my husband was about to break the wood slats with his hands but I decided to finally lather the leg and crib slats in globs of soft butter instead and was able to free him up. This was very traumatizing for all of us and I don’t know what the solution is, but I pray it doesn’t happen to us or anyone else ever again.
