The product, in the report: Name: AFG Marilyn 3-in-1 Crib Color: Gray Size/Dimensions: Standard
I was gifted a Marilyn crib manufactured by AFG. I contacted their customer service department to report a defect in the crib that does not allow it to be put together securely. Customer service refused to address the issue without proof of purchase though I clearly indicated the item was gifted and took photos of the defect, which is very clearly a manufacturer’s defect due to the misalignment of holes for screws to hold the walls together. I explained in both a website prompt and emails what part seemed to be the problem and the customer service department did not address this issue in a timely manner or offer any solutions due to the product being gifted to me. It is a clear act of negligence on their part not to offer ANY solutions - even buying a replacement part, for example - to someone who has a product of theirs with such a serious safety hazard.
