The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No incident, no one hurt

Made Feb 8, 2012, sent to the company Mar 5, 2012, published by CPSC Apr 2, 2012

The product, in the report: Zaky infant positioning pillow. Designed to “comfort” infants while they sleep on their sides or stomachs. Pictures of this product can be seen at: http://j4babies.oversupplywarehouse.com/Zaky-Infant-Pillow_i45753 http://www.pregnancystore.com/zaky.html http://www.amazon.com/Ergonomic-Bonding-Positioning-Preemies-Infants/dp/B005DHMWAQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1328715132&sr=8-1

As far as I know there have been no reports of incidents with this product. But the product is very similar to other infant positioners that have been recalled and have been known to cause deaths. Even the pictures of the infants go against all recommendations from the AAP regarding safe sleep. Infants should be placed to sleep only on his/her back. These positioners show infants sleeping on his/her side or stomach. Both positions place the infant at great risk for SIDS or suffocation.
