The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: hiccapop Tri-fold Pack and Play Mattress Pad for Travel HP-ZPM. Size 38”x26”x1.5”. Trifold mattress for baby play yards and pack and play cribs.

I read that the Hiccapop PlayPad play yard mattresses model HP-TPM-2 was recalled due to unsafe dimensions and thickness regulations. Last year, I purchased a similar but different model from this company, the hiccapop Tri-fold Pack and Play Mattress Pad for Travel HP-ZPM, which has the exact same dimensions, and I am concerned that it too may not be safe for baby sleep as I cannot find any differentiating factors that make it safer than the recalled mattress.

Their marketing copy claims it in fact passes federal regulations. I would appreciate CPSC clarity on the issue.
