No incident, no one hurt Made Dec 17, 2025, sent to the company Jan 2, 2026, published by CPSC Jan 30, 2026
The product, in the report: Dream On Me Honeycomb Orthopedic Firm Fiber Standard Baby Crib Mattress, Greenguard Gold and JPMA Certified, 5 “ Fiber Core Optimum Support, Fits Crib and Toddler Bed, Waterproof Vinyl Cover
I am filing this complaint regarding two Dream On Me crib mattresses purchased from Amazon on November 24, 2024, in preparation for the birth of my twin babies on May 20, 2025. Like many expecting parents, we took advantage of Black Friday sales to prepare our nursery in advance. The total cost for both mattresses, including tax, was $89.86.
After birth, our babies initially slept in a bedside bassinet in our bedroom. The crib mattresses were later placed into normal use and had been used for less than three months at the time the issue was discovered. On November 9, 2025, while changing the crib sheets, I noticed cracking and tearing in the mattress cover material directly beneath the babies head area on both mattresses. Both mattresses failed in the exact same location and manner. They were manufactured within one day of each other, which strongly suggests a manufacturing or material defect affecting that production batch. At the time of use, both babies were under six months old and weighed less than 18 pounds, well within the stated size and weight limits for this product. The mattresses were used normally, in standard cribs, with fitted crib sheets, and were not subjected to misuse, excessive weight, or abnormal conditions.
I submitted a warranty claim to Dream On Me on November 9, 2025, providing photos and documentation of the damage. The claim was denied solely because the mattresses were not flipped every 2-3 months, despite the fact that the mattresses had been in use for less than three months total and both failed during that initial period. I attempted multiple times to explain this and resolve the issue, but Dream On Mes customer service has since stopped responding entirely.
I have now waited over a month for a resolution with no response, replacement, or refund. Given the identical failures, short duration of use, and the fact that this is a product intended for infant safety, I believe the warranty denial is unreasonable.

The product, in the report: Dream on Me twilight 5” 80 coil inner spring crib and toddler mattress
We noticed a gap between my sons mattress and crib. The mattress is advertised on Amazon as measuring 52 inches long. When measured it we found it was measuring at 50 inches, leaving a 2 inch gap between my sons crib and mattress where he could become trapped and suffocate.
