The product, in the report: The product is a standard crib mattress with one Infant side and one Toddler side.

I purchased an Avocado Eco crib mattress. With less than 3 weeks of use with a newborn, a ridge slightly over a 1/4” in height has formed. This type of mattress defect for an infant can be dangerous, especially for newborns which lack head control, may roll to the side, etc.

After notifying Avocado they declined to address the issue and insisted it was caused by the standard grid pattern foundation of the [REDACTED] mattress. They said that a bunkie board (which they provided no instructions or materials to indicate was necessary) would have prevented this issue. They would not replace the crib mattress to ensure a safe, flat sleep surface for infants.

The product, in the report: Avocado Crib Mattress

My 2 year old was complaining that her crib was broken and that her back hurts. I felt her mattress and noticed that is at lumps and indents in it. The innerspring coil system has failed. This is the Avocado crib mattress. The product is being used on the Babyletto Peggy crib.
