  1. No incident, no one hurt

Made Nov 15, 2023, sent to the company Dec 8, 2023, published by CPSC Dec 22, 2023

The product, in the report: To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to bring a matter of grave concern to your immediate attention regarding a product sold by the brand Vjningu listed on Amazon, ASIN B0C9TG51Z8, titled “Baby Play Gym Mat Portable Snuggle Bed with Ultra Soft & 3D Breathable Head Support, Snuggle Nest Sleeper for 0-12 Months (Grey)” We assert that this product blatantly violates Amazon guidelines and established regulatory standards. Consequently, it should be immediately removed from sale on the Amazon platform. Find the product details here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C9TG51Z8 1. Regulatory Violations: The product in question, as described in its listing, is intended as a “Portable snuggle nest sleeper”, which clearly infringes upon the regulations outlined in your compliance guidelines. Futhermore ins their product description you will find the following: “napping comfortably.” Specifically, the product falls under the category of “products intended to provide a sleeping accommodation,” covered by various safety standards, including: • 16 CFR part 1218 - Safety Standard for Bassinets and Cradles • 16 CFR part 1219 - Safety Standard for Full-Size Baby Cribs • 16 CFR part 1220 - Safety Standard for Non-Full-Size Baby Cribs • 16 CFR part 1221 - Safety Standard for Play Yards • 16 CFR part 1222 - Safety Standard for Bedside Sleepers. 2. Counterfeit and Unfair Competition: Furthermore, I represent [REDACTED], a brand that offers a product similar to the aforementioned one. We find it deeply troubling that a product evidently imitating our own is allowed to thrive on Amazon’s platform without adhering to regulatory standards. This situation is particularly vexing, as Amazon informed us that our product was non-compliant for sale. Please find the link to our product to witness the fact that this product is counterfeiting our own: : [REDACTED] Given the blatant violations of Amazon’s guidelines and the critical concerns surrounding regulatory compliance, it is imperative that this product undergoes an immediate and thorough review by Amazon’s regulatory compliance team. Additionally, we strongly recommend the involvement of relevant authorities such as the FDA and CPSC. Until the safety and compliance of this product are unequivocally verified, the best course of action is to temporarily suspend its sale on the Amazon platform. We expect and demand your prompt and decisive action to safeguard the well-being of Amazon customers, especially infants and young children. We are resolutely committed to resolving this issue and look forward to your cooperation in swiftly addressing this matter. Sincerely,

I was on Amazon and witnessed an unsafe product available for sale.
