The product, in the report: Stryker Nara Bassinet

On April 5, 2018 I was injured by a Stryker Nara Bassinet when it rolled into the back of my left ankle. The bottom edge of the bassinet was rough and sharp resulting in a deep laceration that caused a 5 inch long by 3 inch wide laceration that required stitches. the NICU conducted a safety inspection of all their bassinets and it was determined that 40-60% of these bassinets have rough /sharp edges. My injury has resulted in a neuroma, neuropathy, nerve damage as well as a contracture in my leg. Consequently, the hospital let me go because I have not been able to return to work. I now need both daytime and nighttime bracing.
