The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Fisher-Price Soothing Motions Bassinet, Windmill

    Fisher-Price Soothing Motions Bassinet, Windmill

Inside the sleeping area there is a warning label sewn in at each end. The label/stitching cut my baby’s toe. As my baby cried and kicked her leg, the mesh sides rubbed off the skin on her pinky toe. I have photos of the blood all over the side of the bassinet and the chunk of skin that was rubbed completely off. The warning label needs to be attached in a different fashion so that it can’t cut a baby’s sensitive skin. My baby was colic and I put her in the bassinet for 5 minutes so I could re-group. I thought I had put her in a safe place, but it was not safe after all, and her cries were a result of her being injured.
