The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

Made Nov 19, 2023, sent to the company Dec 5, 2023, published by CPSC Dec 27, 2023

The product, in the report: Snuggle Me Infant Lounger, Slate Color that it was purchased from the website. We threw the product away but I have a picture

We left our 4-month-old baby in Snuggleme lounger in our bedroom. We thought the product was made for sleeping, as advertised on [REDACTED]. She almost suffocated in it!! When we found her, she had stopped breathing. But fortunately, she started to breathe again after we turned around her and shook her. I cannot believe this product is on the market... since then, I have researched more and apparently there were dozens of deaths in similar baby loungers like Snuggleme!!

We read on Snuggle Me website that they had no incident reported to them or to the CPSC in 13 years of activity - this is not true - if I look at your public registry. Also they claim to use breathable fabric to make the Snuggle Me, which is not true because our baby stopped breathing and almost suffocated!!

The product, in the report: Rectangular/oval shape Pink (gumdrop) Infant lounger, dimension of 29 x 17 x 4.5 inches

A 5-months-old baby has been put to sleep in crib/bassinet supine on what dad called a “Snuggle Me” baby lounger with a silky blanket (the warning label revealed a suffocation hazard instructing to not leave babies unattended and to not be used for sleeping). Baby had pacifier and was swaddled. Approximately 7 hours later dad found baby colored blue and unresponsive prone (face was down to middle of the pillow). 911 was called and EMS transported subject to hospital where she was pronounced.
