The product, in the report: bassinet

10/29/2019: The respondent received a catalog came in the mail. They did not see the product in person, but is concerned by the fact that both ends extend beyond the base. It looks like a tipping hazard to me. The child standing in the photo appears to be demonstrating how it could be tipped with pressure placed on over one end.

The respondent also called the firm’s corporate office to let them know of her concern.

The bassinet in the catalogue looks unsteady, particularly with a child placing weight over the unsupported end. It is advertised for “$299.”

As a retired pediatrician, the respondent is very concerned about the unstable appearing design of this product.
