Hurt, no treatment Made Jun 22, 2015, sent to the company Jun 30, 2015, published by CPSC Jul 15, 2015
The product, in the report: Newborn rock n play sleeper
I bought my son a newborn rock n play sleeper and I noticed that he began to wheeze and he started to smell funny as I got to looking I noticed it had began growing mold underneath the sleeping [REDACTED] where it meets the plastic back. I bleached it thinking maybe something got on it. After about 2 days later it began growing mold again. My son has gotten a slight respiratory problem but nothing a little medicine can’t fix. So I am returning it and if my son gets any major infection from it I’ll be taking further actions. Thank you. Sincerely, a valued costumer

Hospital admission Made Jan 22, 2014, sent to the company Jan 30, 2014, published by CPSC Feb 21, 2014
The product, in the report: Baby portable cradle
I have been using the yellow fisher price Rock N Play since my daughters birth in September 2013. I had it in my den and really only used it for occassional naps. Around New Years our home was destroyed by a frozen pipe and we had to relocate so I brought the Rock N PLay to the house we were staying at and made it my daughters regular crib. I shared a bedroom with her in our new temporary home. Since that time I developed bronchitis - went to my doctor and to stat MD, went on antibiotics and I got better, than developed bronchitis again which I thought was very strange. At the same time my 3 month old had begun weezing. On January 19 my mother found the recall article of this product on facebook and showed me. I followed the instructions and found a lot of mold on my cradle. I have pictures if you need them. I am so upset that I have been so sick for 3 weeks ( I have a horrible mold allergy so now I know why) and that my 3 month old is still weezing I will have her checked by a doctor. I could barely walk at my daughters Baptism on January 12 I was so ill. I contacted Fisher Price to let them know and I do not feel the customer service I was provided was ok. They sent me a dismissive email saying because I discarded the product (since I am allergic to mold) they could not help me. Not even a phone call. I also contacted my friend who used this cradle before me and her baby was in the hospital while using this cradel for respirtory issues which she now worries was from mold exposure. So she is also very upset. If you need any further informaiton please feel free to contact me.

No one hurt Made Jan 8, 2013, sent to the company Jan 23, 2013, published by CPSC Feb 13, 2013
The product, in the report: Yellow with polka dots.
We frequently would wipe the rock n play down but the straps still wound up getting moldy. They weren’t part of the fabric, they were part of the plastic so we couldn’t wash them properly and to get all of the fabric off we would have to cut it off of the plastic seat. It was a shame, our baby loved the rock n play.

The product, in the report: Fisher-Price Newborn Rock ‘N Play Sleepers
Fisher-Price Newborn Rock ‘N Play Sleepers
The Sleepers hard back has caused my daughter to have a condition called Brachycephaly. This is serious flattness of the back of the head. The hard platic backing is way to hard for an infant’s soft skull. I have heard many families having the same issues.
