The product, in the report: Moses basket-billa baby bassinet-baby moses
I ordered a Moses basket Billa baby bassinet-baby Moses from Etsy, this item was on the parents to be baby registry list. This bassinet is advertised for new born baby. Between the times my gift was received and the arrival of the baby the parents to be were holding the bassinet awaiting the baby arrival which is why the issue was not discovered earlier. The bassinet is poorly made and dangerous to a baby. The sharpest of the straw is not visible. The way the sharpness and cutting material was discovered and when the parent picked up the baby and brushed their hand again the inside of the basket. Further inspecting the bassinet they rubbed the their hand all over the inside and outside of the basket, the basket has many sharp and cutting material in and outside, feeling like pins. The seller and manufacturing is not concerned about the danger. They, at first, said the order was too old. I believe a dangerous product has no expiration date. Finally they ask us to return the basket for their inspection, I will be picking up the basket from the parents shortly, and basket is about 160 miles from my house. Both Seller and manufacturer have been giving me the run around. I have emails Etsy and design dua so many times and requested they call me. They will not call me. I am requesting Etsy to give me full credit and also pay for the shipping charge to return the item. They said no, they want me to pay the shipping charge for return and I don’t think that is fair and also said I might br charged a restocking fee. Over a week ago I did file a complaint with the BBB. I make another attempt to work with the seller/etsy for a reasonable solution, they will not pay for the return shipping charge.
I feel that safety does not have an expiration date. Please explain if there is a regulation/law that the government reinforces on product made out of the country?
