The product, in the report: Little Lullaby Shop is selling this Lullaby Hammock It is a baby hammock that is hung above the crib with the intention of putting a newborn/infant on it to sleep
The product is being advertised on social media as the “most effective method of reducing the risk of SIDS.” And that “this hammock could save your babies life”
This is very concerning because this company is preying on worried parents. They are making false claims. The AAP does not consider this item to be safe for an infant to sleep in. Nor do they support the claim that this product has any effect on SIDS.
Please stop letting this company prey on parents. Until they have scientific evidence that the AAP will support they should not be able to market this product with these claims.
