Made May 26, 2026, sent to the company May 29, 2026, published by CPSC Jun 12, 2026

The product, in the report: https://www.target.com/p/foalom-baby-bassinet-3-in-1-foldable-portable-crib-6-adjustable-height-with-wheels-dark-grey/-/A-1006968380

I am writing to report a safety defect in a bassinet I received as a gift. Upon opening the product, I discovered burn holes in the mesh side panels. The product was unused and had never been assembled prior to this discovery.

This defect is a serious safety concern for infant use, as damaged mesh panels compromise ventilation and may pose a suffocation or entanglement risk to a newborn.

    Product details: - Product type: Bassinet - Brand/Model: 1006968380 - Kmaier Baby Bassinet 3 in 1 Foldable Portable Crib,6 Adjustable Height,with Wheels,Baby Bassinet Rocking-Dark Grey - Approximate purchase date/gift date: Mar 8 2026 - Retailer: Target

Steps I have already taken: - Contacted Target, which declined to assist as the product was outside the return window - Attempted to contact the manufacturer, which has not responded

I have not used the product and even through it was purchased on target marketplace they are refusing to help in anyway. Multiple people have reported this issue in the review of the product listing. https://www.target.com/p/foalom-baby-bassinet-3-in-1-foldable-portable-crib-6-adjustable-height-with-wheels-dark-grey/-/A-1006968380 I am requesting that the CPSC investigate this product for potential manufacturing defects or broader safety concerns, and that the manufacturer be required to respond to consumer safety complaints.

I am happy to provide photos of the defect and any additional information upon request.

    Thanks!
