The product, in the report: Harppa 4 in 1 bedside bassinet sleeper
I purchased a bedside bassinet for my granddaughter as a gift. I bought a Harppa bedside bassinet from Walmart.com. They stated they comply with ASTM and CPSC guidelines. After I received the bassinet I became concerned that the construction of the bassinet could be a suffocation hazard. The sides are not completely mess where the baby lays. It is fabric. If the baby should roll, then the face would be pushed into the fabric side and suffocate. The company states the sides are mess for air which is misleading. Bumpers have been banned in cribs but the guidelines for bassinets are not as strict. If the bassinet should become unlevel the the baby could roll to the side and suffocate. I’m out a lot of money because I bought this in good faith that I was buying a safe product.
