The product, in the report: GoFirst Bedside Bassinet 37.4”x26.8” x 33.5” 0 light brown color. Sold through Amazon
We purchased a the “ GoFirst Bedside Bassinet” for our newborn baby and after he reached 10lbs the bassinet started to tilt dangerously when it should keep the baby level. we woke up to find our son facedown trapped against the lower edge of the bassinet as he was unable to roll back over due to it tilting given its poor design. After reviewing other comments it seems other consumers stop using the bassinet when there babys reach around 10lbs (product states its safe for use up to 50KG?) and choose to discard the product with safety concerns. It is only a matter of time before a newborn suffocates in this bassinet if it hasn’t happened already. When processing the return through amazon the rep was unable to find any contact information from the distributor leading me to file this complaint with the hope that an investigation it launched to prevent any injuries to newborns moving forward.
