The product, in the report: Evenflo Loft Portable Bassinet
Bassinet is faulty and the mattress gives out leading to an uneven and unsafe sleeping surface for an infant. The manufacture is only willing to provide an entire new unit if the mattress fails, not a replacement mattress, and will only provide this if you can show proof of purchase within the past 90 days via a sales receipt. Most bassinets are received months before a baby arrives, so by the time a consumer experiences this unsafe hazard it is too late for a replacement mattress.
Instead of addressing the fact that this product is unsafe, the manufacturer is only willing to provide an entire replacement product to a very small group of people that meet their replacement criteria.
This product should be pulled off the market immediately due to safety concerns which are not being addressed by the manufacturer and cannot be corrected without the entire item being replaced.
