Hurt, no treatment Made Mar 13, 2014, sent to the company Mar 24, 2014, published by CPSC Apr 7, 2014
The product, in the report: Eddie Bauer by Dorel, model number 10330, Manufactured 2003 in a light oak color
Bassinet was being used in my home for my newborn pre-mature infant when I first came come from the NICU. Despite LOCKING the rocking mechanism, the rocker still tilted and as a result my newborn was rolled onto the side of the railings and became trapped against the side rail bedding. I assumed it was my fault for not locking the rocker properly the first time but this happened a second and third time before I finally realized it is a faulty locking mechanism and a serious suffocation danger. After each incident my infant spent several minutes gasping after being removed from the corner of the bassinet.
