This bassinet began to wiggle and was very unsturdy. We were constantly tightening the screws until the wood began to split apart.

We purchased a Carter’s bassinet from Babies R us for our son - specifics from Babies R Us webiste are below. It has a metal frame and fabric that is secured to the frame by ties in the corners. When my son was about 10 weeks old i woke up to find he had kicked his legs up and managed to pull the fabric down exposing a shobox sized opening. He was not injured but I wanted to report this as a potential fall hazard. He could have rolled out or even set the bassinet off balance and cause it to tip by kicking his legs out of the opening. Upon closer inspection we found that the ties were very secure and my son was well with in the manufacturer’s guidleines (under weight limit, not able to push up on hands and knees). I think this requires futher reveiw since it is a potential fall hazard - at the very least there should be additional ties in the middle that would allow the fabric to be better secured to the frame.
I do have the box if I need to I can pull it from storage.
