The product, in the report: Babybay bassinet (original) and mattress (classic wave mattress for original)
My sister let me use her bassinet with the mattress that is recommended by the company. However, the mattress is too small for the bassinet and leaves a gap on either side, which poses a safety risk for an infant. I reached out to the company and went back and forth with them for a while and they refused to send me a new mattress that properly and safely fit, even though their own directions say that there shouldnt be a gap. The most they did was offer me a discount and told me that since it was out of warranty, I needed to purchase a new one. I am concerned that the gap will pose a risk to other infants. I told them that this is not a warranty issue, but rather a safety issue and my concerns have not been addressed.
