How badly anyone was hurt

As each report says it, in short words; CPSC’s own words are under each.

The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No incident, no one hurt

The product, in the report: This is a hammock marketed to babies where they sleep chin on chest and it hovers over a crib. So unsafe. https://babybabyloves.com/collections/baby-safety/products/folding-baby-crib-portable-beds-baby-folding-cot-bed-travel-playpen-hammock-crib-white-blue-pink-new-baby-newborn-photography NEWBORN CRIB HAMMOCK This wonderful product is designed to simulate the womb, giving your newborn a safe, comfortable and natural place to sleep in By mimicking the womb the hammock eases the transition to the outside world. Helps to prevent SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). Improves the quality of your baby’s sleep, yours too :) Gives perfect support, no matter what position. Attaches to the crib with 4 strong straps (supports up to 71lb.\35kg). Folds to a small size, easily take it with when traveling. Made from a breathable & flexible mesh. Suitable for an age of 3-12 months.

This product is in a facebook ad claiming to reduce the risk of SIDS and as a healthcare provider with a long history in Pediatrics and NICU I find this product hazardous and misleading. I would hate for anyone to ever purchase it. I don’t know if you can have it removed but it needs to be. No personal incident but the product is a death waiting to happen. https://babybabyloves.com/collections/featured_products/products/folding-baby-crib-portable-beds-baby-folding-cot-bed-travel-playpen-hammock-crib-white-blue-pink-new-baby-newborn-photography
