Emergency room Made Dec 31, 2023, sent to the company Jan 5, 2024, published by CPSC Jan 23, 2024
The product, in the report: Spuddies Spuddies Potty with Ladder, White/Gray, One Size. It is plastic and foldable, and weighs about 3 pounds.
My son was using the Spuddies toilet seat with step ladder while using the bathroom. Because the seat is made of plastic, it has a tendency to stick to the skin if there is sweat present (as tends to happen when sitting on the toilet seat while using the restroom). On this particular day, my son went to stand up and his penis stuck to the splash guard and ripped open his penis at the base. We took him to the ER where the doctor had to administer [REDACTED] skin glue to close to wound.
