Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Kalencom “2 in 1 Potette Plus” children’s potty, color red

This incident involves the product “2 in 1 Potette Plus” children’s potty by manufacturer “Kalencom” My son who is 3 years and 5 months old was playing around and put the potty seat on top of his head. His head slipped through the opening of the seat and entrapped his head, so that the entire potty seat encircled his head like a ring. We were unable to pull his head out of the seat to free him, so my husband had to use a saw to cut through the plastic seat and remove him. We have two other potty seats (made by different companies) and these other seats have openings far too small to be an entrapment risk.

We have photos of the incident if it would be helpful to you.
