First aid Made Apr 3, 2015, sent to the company Apr 13, 2015, published by CPSC May 4, 2015
The product, in the report: Dream Lite Unicorn pillow
My daughter woke up in the middle of the night with a large U shaped cut on her knee which was bleeding. She had rolled onto her Unicorn Dream Lite pillow and the plastic cracked and cut her knee. The plastic was very hard, jagged and sharp. Her cut was approximately 3 inches in length on each side and 2 inches wide in a U shape. The plastic on the Dream Lite pillow was broken in a U shape. Please be careful and keep these away from where your child is sleeping. My daughter is only 9yo and was just sleeping with this in her bed but got a very nasty cut.

The product, in the report: Dreamlite Penguin
My son was playing with his Dreamlite Penguin and started screaming. He had gotten his finger stuck in the little round plastic piece that is over the lighting. The piece is secured by little plastic tabs, but not very secure, his finger was jammed in there and could not come out. I was finally able to pry his finger out, but it was all scraped and bleeding. I have pictures of the injury but am unable to upload them to this file.

Seen by a doctor or nurse Made Oct 7, 2014, sent to the company Oct 16, 2014, published by CPSC Nov 6, 2014
The product, in the report: (Unicorn) Dream Lites by Pillow pet
To whom it may concern My FOUR YEAR OLD daughter suffered burns from a dream lite pillow pet (unicorn) on Sunday, Sept 14, 2014. She went to sleep around 8:30 pm and woke me at 4 AM screaming she was on FIRE!!!! I rushed to my daughters room, saw her shirt was burned and I immediately lifted her shirt off of her. She indeed was burned by this pillow and has 2nd degree burn measuring the same length of the plastic pink area as well as stars and moons and a unicorn that has now blistered up and started to burst on her abdomen!!!! She has been in pain since Sunday and is under doctor care!!! I am so outraged and disgusted by the fact that just I called your customer service number (9/18/14) and learned that these items are still being sold!!! What if she wouldn’t have woken up-she could have burned to death in a house fire!! Would that have been a WAKE UP CALL for you to remove this PRODUCT FROM SHELVES!!!!! I have seen numerous reviews [REDACTED]now dated back as far as May of last year talking about the UNICORN and other dream lites causing the same thing to other families and the built in timers not even cutting off!...2nd and 3rd degree burns and house fires with the dream lites being declared cause of fire by Fire Marshall’s but I guess that isn’t enough for your company to remove these for purchase. My daughter is now a VICTIM!!!!! This product has bad reviews and is dangerous and SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM ALL SHELVES. I guess this toy will be a life time tag along being the scars will last forever!!!! ONE extremely upset MOTHER!!!”

First aid Made May 2, 2013, sent to the company May 9, 2013, published by CPSC May 31, 2013
The product, in the report: Pillow Pets Dream Lite - Rainbow Unicorn 11”
My daughter’s dreamlight melted last night from being on all night. The timer was set to turn off automatically and when we got up this morning the light was still on, the plastic was melted on the Dreamlight, and the Dreamlight is very deformed now. This is worriful. I don’t want a fire. I’m also concerned for other children and families with Dreamlights.

Hurt, no treatment Made Jan 4, 2013, sent to the company Jan 25, 2013, published by CPSC Feb 8, 2013
The product, in the report: Dream Lite, http://mypillowpets.com/shop/dreamlites/. a pillow plush that projects light on the ceiling. Pillow Pets USA CJ Products, LLC [REDACTED]
My 5 yr old Foster Daughter received a gift for xmas, Called the Dream Lite. Last night 1/3/13 my daughter was crying in her room after we put her to bed. when we checked on her her finger was stuck in the “pillow lite”. apparently she had broken a tab from one of the patterns that cast light shapes onto the ceiling. as she struggled to take her finger out her finger kept going deeper into the product. the plastic is thick and how it was lodged we could not cut the plastic to remove the finder. we eventually use cream/oil and managed to get her finger out. I have pictures of her finger and the Pillow lite, but we did not take pictures while she was trapped do to the urgency of the matter. her finger was losing circulation.
