No one hurt Made Feb 7, 2025, sent to the company Feb 12, 2025, published by CPSC Feb 27, 2025
The product, in the report: Bike trailer Burley Flex Connector Assembly [Square Tongue] MPN: 950038 UPC: 840840002891
Hi, I own a burly bike trailer. I’ve had it for less than 2 years and it’s got light use. I use it to transport my young children to school.
The other day the plastic connection between the trailer and my bike snapped.
It was only by luck that I wasn’t transporting my kids at the time. If I were it could have been a deadly accident.
I contacted Burley and they offered to send me a replacement- a replacement of the same part that just failed a flimsy plastic connector.
Is there another way to report this? Thank you
