The reports, as CPSC published them
Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.
Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Child bicycle seat rear.
This product has a design flaw.
There is a plastic Green Key that supposedly allows you to “lock” the seat in 1 of 6 positions.
But because of the material and the design of the key it bends when you hit bumps on the road, and so the seat is free to slide all the way forward or all the way back.
After contacting the manufacturer with the problem they played dumb and sent me a replacement with exactly the same problem.
While this is a product designed to protect children the free movement of the seat can actually cause accidents, if the seat moves forward and gets in the way of the adult pedaling.
While this happened while I was riding with my 3 year old son, I was lucky not to crash.
I recorded two videos to send the manufacturer explaining the problem. Here they are.
