The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No incident, no one hurt

Made May 5, 2026, sent to the company May 7, 2026, published by CPSC May 21, 2026

The product, in the report: Delta Children Lee Portable Folding Mini Crib

On April 16, at approximately 9 am one side of the mattress board fell while my 7 month old infant granddaughter was asleep in the crib. I was present in the room at the time, so thankfully she was not physically injured, however, the incident startled her and caused significant distress. This failure created a serious safety risk and could have resulted in significant harm.

I am filing a formal complaint regarding a defective crib and the companys failure to properly honor its warranty.

The crib experienced a structural failure during normal, intended use. There was no misuse, modification, or unusual circumstances that would have caused this issue. This raises serious safety concerns, as this product is intended for infant use.

Since reporting the issue, I have complied with multiple requests from the company, including submitting photos and additional documentation. Despite my full cooperation, the company has continued to delay resolution by requesting excessive and repetitive information rather than addressing the defect.

This ongoing process has been frustrating and concerning. If the company were truly focused on safety, they would have already retrieved the product for inspection and taken appropriate action. Instead, they have prolonged the situation and have not provided a reasonable resolution.

I am concerned that this issue may pose a risk to other consumers and believe it should be taken seriously.

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
