The product, in the report: The product is a Cradlewise Convertible Smart Bassinet and Crib. I also have some concern about lead in these connector pieces. I use a home lead kit test. See attached photos. Please note that I have a video showing the loose cam bolts but cannot upload it here for some reason - the website won’t process it. I’ve included a photo of the page in the assembly manual that indicates the structural integrity of the crib is compromised if the cam lock bolts are not tightened. Our cam lock bolts came loose over time through normal use of the product.

I recently became aware of an issue with hardware connector pieces coming loose and falling out on the Cradlewise smart crib. We have been using our crib for 16 months with my son. The cam lock connectors were tight and secure when initially assembled. Upon inspection this morning, (3) of the (9) connector pieces are loose within the openings, to the extent that they move around when I tap them with my finger. I can also turn them very easily with just one finger. A rotation of the connector allows it to become unlocked and removed. These pieces are small enough to become a choking hazard if they were to fall onto the floor of a child’s bedroom. The smart crib is subject to a ton of movement, which is an integral function of the product. These connection points do not seem safe when paired with the movement of the crib. I was also concerned about lead being present in the metal connector pieces. Photos attached showing results using a home swab lead test kit.
