The product, in the report: Carrier
This consumer is reporting a carrier that she purchased via Amazon online July 16, 2016. She used this carrier successfully for two years then one day the material portion that connects to the shoulders came apart with no warning. She said that around February 17, 2018 her husband was wearing it and he said that he felt a strange loosening feeling and so he tightened his grip on their child but then the material to the carrier dropped.. She is reporting this as an injury hazard because she states that if she had been wearing this carrier or if her husband had been leaning forward the child could have fallen out. Her son weighs 30 pounds and the carrier warns of a 32 pound weight limit. She has contacted the manufacturer and asked for an investigation. The manufacturer requested many pictures but then wasn’t interested.
