The product, in the report: soft cotton ring sling baby carrier
I purchased a ring sling from ECHO resales in Madison Indiana, these slings are made and sold by the owner of the shop.
As I was wearing this sling it ripped apart and caused my son to fall to the ground, luckily we were over mulch so he only has some scratches but it could have been much much worse.
When I purchased this sling I was not aware of the safety issues involved in babywearing, I have now discovered that not only was the stitching not done safely but the fabric used was unsafe, not lead tested and the rings where not safe at all or lead tested either.
The owner of the store has threatened to sue me if I do not leave her alone, all I have done was ask that she gets her items up to safety standards, I never even asked for a refund but she refuses to take any accountability and actually has claimed she does not have to do anything legally.
So I am coming here to you.
