The product, in the report: Baby Carrier-Ergonomic Baby Carrier Backpack-Baby Carrier Hip Seat-Toddler Carrier-Easy to Put On 6 Safe and Comfortable Positions for Infant & Newborn-Baby Carriers Front and Back-Improved Ergo Model This is their Amazon description
I received the product today from Amazon where it is listed for sale for $59.99. Within 10 minutes of using the carrier a strap broke and a clip came off. There’s a zipper connecting the carrier to a seat part on the waistband and the zipper pulls apart. No injuries. I didn’t see any labels saying it had been tested for safety so I kept hands on my daughter at all times because I am well versed in carriers. The carrier doesn’t have a weight limit listed, only an age maximum (40 months) and I know that’s not how the safety of a carrier is tested. I contacted the company and asked if they are compliant with safety testing and they said, “we are compliant with Amazon, don’t worry.” I told them I meant the actual safety laws that are in place to keep children safe and they were completely dismissive and dodged the question. They claim to be a company out of Delaware but their product is made in China.
