The product, in the report: Taarget Circo Musical “braham’s Lullaby” Mobile 030-02-1159
I was assembling a Target Circo Musical Mobile 030 -02-1159 that plays brahm’s lullaby when I found that there was an error in the dies used for manufacturing and the mobile will only assemble backwards (I.E. different that the instructions display). The mobile we have can only be assembled so that the clamping nut orients to the inside of the crib. The nut is of large diameter and could be loosened by a child once they gain their faculties. In the upright an arm there is an alignment groove/tang and locking tit that orients the unit, and they are diametrically opposed to how the instructions show them. Unsure if every unit was mis-manufactured or just this lot, but some unknowing person will assemble it and not realize the nut is on the wrong side of the crib. I haven’t returned to the store yet, and would be happy to send photos of the unit and a PDF of the assy. instructions
