The product, in the report: Bright Starts soothing Safari mobile with monkey, hippo, elephant and tiger
I put my baby in his crib where the Bright Starts mobile was being used. I was watching it because I was a little weary of the product, because of how bulky it is and its placement above the baby’s head. I walked to the other side of the room when I heard a loud popping noise. The clip holding the mobile to the crib had detached and the mobile fell onto my baby’s head. This product does not attach well and is poorly designed. It could really hurt a child and I’ve read other reviews on the product saying the same thing happened to them. This item is not safe and should be recalled.
