No one hurt Made Aug 11, 2017, sent to the company Jan 2, 2018, published by CPSC Jan 17, 2018
The product, in the report: The very hungry caterpillar, trademarked, Soft Teether Book by Eric Carle
Subject toy: The very hungry caterpillar fun foods tether book by Eric Carle. Age rating: The product package labeled 0+m My 4 1/2 month son’s head was lying on the toy and he was trying to roll to his tummy. At this time was clearly in distress. When I picked him up, the book was stuck to him. The book has a yellow plastic ring and a red plastic star connected to the book binder with a red sting. The red string had become wrapped around his neck and choking him. If I had not noticed the distress so quickly he would be dead.

The product, in the report: World of eric carle brown bear crib toy. Stuffed bear toy with plastic hanging hook. Rings are attached to one hand and a plastic fish is attached to the other.
The toy (world of eric carle brown bear crib toy) was hanging from my four-month-old son’s car seat and while he was playing with it his thumb became stuck in the “eye” of the plastic fish attached to the bear’s hand. He was in pain, but I was able to push the toy off of his thumb.
