My 6 month old was playing with and chewing on her Sophie la Girafe teether toy and one of the outside legs got lodged in her throat and she was unable to remove it. She began to cough and then appeared to be in distress. I was able to pull the toy out of her throat and she was ok, but if I hadn’t been close by, she could have stopped breathing or been seriously injured.
