The product, in the report: Pacifier

SOOTHIE pacifier used when my 7 month old son sleeps. The pacifier became stuck on his thumb while sleeping. When getting picked up after his nap his thumb was found stuck on the opening located on the back of the soothie/ pacifier cutting off circulation. His thumb was cold and discolored purple /grey. Took 30 minutes after removing the pacifier to improve. Very dangerous to use with babies unsupervised.

The product, in the report: Soothie pacifier. Green, round.

My 6 month old son was able to suck off the rubber tab or handle on the outside of the pacifier. Luckily we were watching him and he didn’t choke. But this is a very hazardous pacifier it needs to be taken off the market and I’m planning to sue.

The product, in the report: Soothie Pacifier

I JUST WANT TO BRING ATTENTION TO THE CHOKING HAZARDS OF THE SOOTHIE PACIFIERS. ABOUT 10 MINUTES AGO I HAD TO PULL ONE OUT THAT WAS ALMOST COMPLETELY LODGED IN MY SON’S MOUTH. THANK GOD I HEARD HIM CHOKING SO I COULD PULL IT OUT. HE WAS CRYING WHILE SUCKING HIS PACIFIER AND HAD ROLLED ONTO HIS STOMACH WHICH LED TO HIM SOMEHOW GETTING THE BINKY STUCK IN HIS MOUTH. PLEASE USE CAUTION WHEN USING THESE ESPECIALLY IF YOUR CHILD IS OLD ENOUGH TO ROLL OVER. ALSO, THERE ARE ALSO SIMILAR PACIFIERS LIKE [REDACTED] PACIFIERS WHICH ARE ACTUALLY SMALLER THAN THE SOOTHIES, SO I WOULD ASSUME THAT THESE COULD BE HAZARDOUS AS WELL.
