Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Perfectly Cute Cuddle-Up Baby Carrier for 14” Dolls which includes a yellow hard plastic pacifier with a teal and yellow pacifier clip. This product is sold at Target.

My 3 years old daughter was playing with her “Perfectly Cute Cuddle-Up Baby Carrier” from Target which includes a plastic pacifier for babydolls. She somehow managed to trip/fall when the plastic pacifier was on the ground sitting up, causing the hard plastic nipple piece of the pacifier to lodge into her knee and break off inside her knee. We ended up needing to go to the ER to get Xrays and have the piece removed which was lodged sideways and required manipulation and twisting of the plastic piece by the ER Doctor to pry out. We luckily avoided having to get surgery to remove the piece, but she did also require stitches, antibiotics, with potentially having more issues depending on when she is able to start walking and putting full weight back onto her injured leg.
