The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Green Pampers Stages Pacifier

My 11 month old son was sucking on his Green Pampers Stages Pacifier when I noticed he droped the pacifier and was choking. I imidietly put him on my lap and pated his back then pumped his chest and he spit out half of the pacifier. The plastic cracked and the pacifier was divided in two parts, the part that preses against a babies mouth and the part that sits inside the babies mouth. The part that sits in babies mouth is what my soon was choking.

The product, in the report: Pampers Baby Pacifier

Ten months ago my wife and I had a beautiful baby girl. We have enjoyed each day watching her grow up. Well, today our first true nightmare haunted us. Our daughter loves her pacifier. She has grown accustom to it. Today, it broke completely off the stopper and got caught in her throat. Luckily someone was right there to provide immediate assistance. This simple creation almost stopped a life. The piece that broke was to big for her to understand how to swallow it or spit it up. She is only 10 months.

The pacifier broke smoothly off in two pieces. The mouth piece broke off at the joint from the stopper.

I have searched for a mailing address and phone number to speak to headquarters directly. I would like to show you the pictures of this product and how the breakage was clean and show areas of concern.
