The product, in the report: “My Chewy Holder Sensory Toy” See item on Amazon:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L1BIX9W/ref=cfb_at_prodpg

I ordered the item “My Chewy Holder Sensory Tool” for my 3 year old child. It is a flexible tube designed to be worn around the neck of the child to hold a sensory teething/chewing toy so that it does not get dropped/lost. It is equipped with a “break away” clasp for safety. Upon receiving the item I attempted to pull apart the clasp and discovered that it took an astonishing amount of force to do so. I closed it and pulled it apart several times and each time it was extremely difficult to get it to separate. So I undertook some experiments. I has able to support the weight of two full gallons of milk for 10 seconds with the closed tube before it broke away.

I have worked as a paramedic for over 10 years and am very well acquainted with neck and airway anatomy of children. I feel confident that this product poses a significant strangulation hazard to young children and should not be marketed for that age group.
