The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No incident, no one hurt

Made Oct 17, 2022, sent to the company Oct 20, 2022, published by CPSC Nov 3, 2022

The product, in the report: Product Name: Pacifier Clip Color: Cleo (Stone) - though any color would be applicable Size: Length : 10 cm

The Mushie Pacifier Clip poses a choking hazard and safety threat to babies. The wooden part of the pacifier flip falls off after some use, which allows the screw to come off. As the company markets this item is also a safe teething toy, it is not safe for the babies to put in their mouths as they could swallow the wooden piece or the screw.

No injuries were made because the mother was there to prevent it from happening, and took the teething pacifier away as soon as she saw it was a danger.

The product, in the report: Mushie Cleo Pacifier Clip, color is Dried Thyme, Dimensions 8.5 inches(H) x 1.25 inches(W) x 8.5 inches(D)

On April 30, 2022 my 16 month old had a Mushie & Co. pacifier clip on that fell apart. The button and the screw came undone which could have posed a choking hazard for my child. I was there to take it away from him but had I not he could have swallowed it. I contacted the company but they have not responded.
