The product, in the report: Infant soft teether called Go GaGa Squeeze & Teethe Monkey - Coco. Sold at Target by Infantino. It is orange and has a tail that is curvy and goes up by the head
My infant son choked and nearly suffocated on a Go GaGa Squeeze & Teethe Monkey - Coco from Target. The tail and the body are shaped in such a way that he had the tail down his throat and the body wrapped around his chin, “pinning” the monkey down his throat. We were able to pull the monkey out but had my husband been in the restroom for a minute or two longer we dont know how the story would have ended.
However, this monkey was our son’s favorite toy. So we kept it but only allowed him to use it under direct and constant supervision. Nonetheless, it happened again. He had the tail down his throat and the body pressed against his chin pinning the monkey and suffocating my son.
After the second incident we through the toy in the trash.
