The product, in the report: Sophie la giraffe
Upon hearing of the recent reports of mold growing inside “Sophie la giraffe”, I decided to cut mine open as well. Much to my dismay, the inside of my child’s toy was covered in black mold. We have not used this toy in or around water. In fact, it has been played with less than a handful of times. It was brand new in packaging when we received this toy and have had it for a little less than a year.

The product, in the report: Sophie the giraffe teether
I purchased this teether about a year ago, I followed the instructions on cleaning (spot clean, dont submerge in water) and I heard online that someone cut theirs open and it was full of mold. I decided to cut ours open and sure enough,,, lots of mold and it smells terrible. My daughter barely even played with this.
