Hurt, no treatment Made Oct 11, 2017, sent to the company Oct 19, 2017, published by CPSC Nov 9, 2017
The product, in the report: Teething necklace with multiple beads sold by Bella Tunno at https://www.bellatunno.com/mint-green-teething-necklace.html The necklace is titled “Mint Green Teething Necklace” and is comprised of silicon and wooden beads- as are most of this companies necklaces.
My son was chewing on a Bella Tunno teething necklace made of silicon and wooden beads. One of the wooden beads broke in his mouth and he swallowed 1/4 to 1/2 of the bead. The remaining portion of the bead had very sharp edges, which we assume means the edges of the swallowed portion were sharp as well. We are monitoring for internal injury, but desire for this product to be recalled. This company makes several products with this version of wooden beads and is clearly a danger to infants.
