The product, in the report: The First Years Magna Light Stoller, blue color, Travel system

The back wheel of the stroller fell off while taking my 1 year old grandson for a walk in the park. The stroller was only one year old with not much mileage on it.I contacted the company and they said it was two weeks past the warranty period and they offered no explanation of why the back wheel suddenly fell off. I purchased the stroller because I thought it was safe but fortunately my grandson was not injured but it really frightened him when suddenly the stroller went sideways. The wheels are attached with a small piece of plastic. I thought they were attached with metal but it is only plastic. I guess the plastic must have have cracked while I was strolling my grandson. he is only 22 pounds and 30 inches and his birthday was Aug. 3 when he turned 1. i bought the stroller June of last year so we could have the car seat that goes with it for when he was born. he did not actually start using the stroller until he was six months old.
