Emergency room Made May 26, 2026, sent to the company May 29, 2026, published by CPSC Jun 12, 2026
The product, in the report: Summer by Ingenuity 3Dquickclose CS+ Compact Fold Stroller
My two year old son fell backward from the summer stroller 3d quick close. He hit his head on the concrete, and I took him to the pediatrician. My son weighed about 30 pounds at the time, which was under the weight limit for this stroller. My pediatrician recommended I reach out to him if my son vomited due to potential brain injury. A few days later, I took my son to the Emergency Room due to vomiting and to have his head injury examined. The physician determined a brain scan was not necessary due to unlikely brain bleeding.

Seen by a doctor or nurse Made Sep 7, 2024, sent to the company Sep 11, 2024, published by CPSC Sep 25, 2024
The product, in the report: Summer by Ingenuity 3D quick close CS+- gray tweed 1L
What Happened: I received the Summer by Ingenuity 3D quickclose CS+ 1L stroller as a gift in January. I finally took it out of the box for use. I opened it and heard the click open. I assembled it open without any issues. I tested it was sturdy and locked before attempting to strap my son in it. While strapping him in this stroller collapsed with him in it. I was no where near the lock mechanism as I was with him in the front. My son was thrown back with the stroller and was trapped in the canopy. It was unclear if he hit his head and needed to be observed just in case. A stroller should never collapse on its own. I now have anxiety to put my son in any stroller. This is a huge safety issue. I thought it was maybe me but there are multiple reviews on different sellers site of families having the same experience. This product needs to be recalled now before a child is seriously injured.
