  1. No one hurt

Made Nov 20, 2023, sent to the company Nov 22, 2023, published by CPSC Dec 7, 2023

The product, in the report: Summer Infant 3Dpac CS+ Double Stroller, Black – Car Seat Compatible Lightweight Baby Stroller with Convenient One-Hand Fold, Reclining Seats, Two Extra-Large Canopies

The product is called, Summer Infant 3Dpac CS+ Double Stroller and it is sold only on Amazon, but made by Summer Infant. I have two children, a 2 year old and a 4 month old. I received this stroller in May 2023 and started using it approximately September 2023. On November 12, I put my daughter on her side of the stroller, and then I attempted to put my son in the “car seat compatible” side of the stroller. When I began to push out to leave my house I could feel the stroller was unlocked and was collapsing. I attempted to lock it and proceed and it did this again. That’s when I noticed that the frame had completely cracked and a support bar was hanging off the stroller, detached, cracked off the frame, broken. The company has a 90 day warranty from date of purchase, however this is not a warranty issue, it’s a hazard! According to other customer reviews, the same situation happened to them, the same defect! I want my money back and this product should be taken off the market immediately! I have tried to contact the company but my emails are unable to be delivered. I have called and left a message and waiting for them to return the call. Thankfully there were no injuries but if my son hadn’t been in his car seat and just sitting in the stroller the whole thing could have collapsed while we were walking down the street. My 2 year daughter could have been injured too! Other consumers on Amazon wrote reviews claiming the same issue!
