Emergency room Made Oct 10, 2013, sent to the company Nov 5, 2013, published by CPSC Nov 20, 2013
The product, in the report: Maclaren Triumph stroller
I was unfolding the stroller and my daughter started to jump in the stroller before it was completely unfolded. I quickly tried to fully latch it in place before she got in. Unfortunately her hand was on the frame and her finger was on the hinge. Her pinky finger was smashed in the hinge. It caused a broken finger and severe laceration that required stitches.

Emergency room Made May 5, 2013, sent to the company May 22, 2013, published by CPSC Jun 6, 2013
The product, in the report: Maclaren techno xt UPDATE May 9, 2013: Maybe the serial number is WOX11013
We are currently on vacation in Malaysia. Last night we arrived at the airport, and we were getting to ready to use our stroller-Maclaren for our children. And as my husband tried to open the stroller, my daughter’s pinky finger got stuck on the hinge, and her finger tip became flat, and got laceration. As time went by, the pinky finger got swollen, and she was in bad pain. We took her to the hospital ER as soon as possible after going through the immigration at the airport. Luckily she did not get any broken bone or nurve damage, but she is still suffering from the laceration, swolling and bruising. We know that Maclaren offers a free repair kit for the hinge part, but we still think that they should offer better service than a free repair kit.

No one hurt Made Jun 16, 2012, sent to the company Jul 5, 2012, published by CPSC Jul 19, 2012
The product, in the report: This is a red, top of the line, Maclaren Global Stroller. We paid well over $200 for this stroller and now it is sitting in our garage because I’m afraid to use it. I would never sell it, for fear it would harm another child.
I have a Maclaren Global stroller. Within the first 2 months of having it, it suddenly collapsed and started folding up with our son in it. He was buckled in properly so he wasn’t injured, but he could have easily fallen to the ground and been hurt. He was 22 pounds at the time, well within the stollers guidelines. On inspection a plastic supporting piece on the bottom side of the stroller had completely severed, braking apart. We’ve tried several times to fix it, but nothing has worked. We have an older Maclaren Techno stoller that we’ve used in it’s place because I’m afraid to use it, for fear it will hurt my child.

No one hurt Made Sep 2, 2011, published by CPSC Oct 7, 2011
The product, in the report: Red and black Maclaren Global stroller
I was pushing my Maclaren Global stroller with my 20 lb daughter in it and it suddenly collapsed and started folding up with her inside. She was buckled in properly so she just slid down against the straps and was uninjured but she could have easily slipped out onto the ground. On inspection an plastic supporting piece on the bottom side of the stroller had completely severed and the pin supporting one whole side had slipped out.

First aid Made Aug 8, 2011, published by CPSC Aug 29, 2011
The product, in the report: Maclaren Volo, tan with blue vertical stripes
My daughter was also injured by a Maclaren stroller. I was opening her stroller and she had a hold of the sides preparing to sit down in it before I had it all the way open. Her finger was seriously pinched by the hinging mechanism on the side of the stroller near the seat. Her finger was extremely bruised and swollen and she is in a lot of pain at the time it happened and sore for several days. I was thankful it wasn’t worse though I felt horrible that it had happened.
