The product, in the report: Kelty double stroller
I was using the Kelty double stroller to push my 3 year old and 10 month old. They were sitting in it with it locked and set up properly and all of a sudden the yellow lock tab snapped and the kids fell to the ground (still buckled in) very hard and fast. Thankfully, we were on grass. I’d like the stroller to be fixed.

The product, in the report: Double Jogging Stroller
On Sunday, April 27th, 2014 the caller’s husband with her one year old son in his jogging stroller began jogging from his home, had gone about one mile when the front wheel of stroller came off. When the wheel came off the stroller fell forward hitting his forehead and nose on the concrete.
He was not taken to the hospital but his mother and father cleaned his injuries and put ice on them. The child’s head and nose are swollen, red, scraped and beginning to bruise. The caller did not see any other place on the child other than his forehead and nose. The caller has not contacted the manufacturer but does intend to contact them.

The product, in the report: Kelty single jogging stroller
front wheel came off my stroller- thought maybe it was something I did wrong and didn’t report it but my sister in law just sent me a recall and felt I should report this. had my 3 yr. old in the stroller and sadly unstrapped, but felt after the fact that it was better. Picked my kindergartener up at school and he ran ahead of us. At the same time the 3 yr old dropped a toy so I went back to pick it up and ran as fast as I could/full force to catch up to my 5 yr old. The front wheel came off and I soared in the air over the stroller from the front spoke catching the sidewalk. My 3 yr. old son somehow did not sustain any injuries. I’m not sure why, but I don’t think being strapped in or not strapped in would have made a difference or I felt that strapped in would have made him more trapped and injured. I was shocked at the time. I was in front of our school but buses all across the street and somehow a father saw what happened from across the street, between the buses and helped me and put the wheel back on while I checked my 3 yr old son. Thank gosh my 5 yr old stopped at the end of the block and just waited for us. However and very honestly there was not a part of my body that was not injured. In retrospect I probably should have at least saw my dr. to check me out. I felt as I had been in car wreck if that’s what one felt like. I had bruises all over my body. In particular I ended up with one on my leg that remained a huge bump for at least 2 months and was tender to touch. I should have seen a dr, but never did. Again- I landed over the stroller, ahead of it and the 3 yr old I don’t think even had a scratch, but it was by far the most injured I’ve ever gotten beside a broken bone.
However, I believe my stroller could have been from 2009
