The product, in the report: The product is an Evenflo Shyft Intuiti+ stroller purchased through Amazon in August 2025. The stroller includes a removable child tray that attaches to the sides of the seat. When the tray is removed, hard plastic attachment points remain exposed on both sides of the child seating area. My concern is that these plastic attachment points are positioned close to where a young child sits and moves during normal use. My 9-month-old child has bumped her head and face against these exposed parts multiple times. To continue using the stroller, I covered the exposed attachment points with protective padding and bubble wrap. I contacted the manufacturer, Evenflo, about my concerns and was informed that this is the intended design of the product. I believe the exposed hard plastic attachment points may present an avoidable impact hazard for young children using the stroller.
I am reporting a safety concern involving an Evenflo Shyft Intuiti+ stroller that I purchased through Amazon in August 2025.
The concern involves the child tray attachment design. When the child tray is installed, it sits very close to my child’s face and upper body, making it uncomfortable and impractical for us to use. When the tray is removed, hard plastic attachment points remain exposed on both sides of the stroller seat.
My child, who is currently 9 months old, has bumped her head and face against these exposed plastic attachment points multiple times during normal use while seated in the stroller. No medical treatment was required, but the repeated impacts caused significant concern.
Because of this concern, I covered the exposed plastic attachment points with protective padding and bubble wrap to help prevent further impacts. I do not believe parents should need to modify a premium stroller in order to feel comfortable using it safely.
I contacted Evenflo and provided photographs. Evenflo informed me that this is the intended design of the product and did not offer an exchange or alternative solution.
I am submitting this report because I believe the exposed hard plastic attachment points may present an avoidable impact hazard for young children using the stroller.

My occupied Evenflo Shyft DualRide completely collapsed while walking under normal conditions. The entire base folded under, and the car seat shell struck the pavement with my baby inside. This is a catastrophic product failure.

No one hurt Made May 25, 2026, sent to the company Jun 1, 2026, published by CPSC Jun 15, 2026
The product, in the report: The product involved was an Evenflo Reversi Lightweight Stroller, Artimus Blue, used for infant transportation. The stroller was being used normally with my infant properly seated and restrained when it unexpectedly folded/collapsed while in use. After the incident, the stroller became stuck in the folded position and is no longer functional or safe to use. The stroller was purchased new and had not been modified or misused. Product labels, tags, and identifying information were provided directly to Evenflo after the incident.
I am reporting a safety issue involving an Evenflo Reversi stroller. While my infant child was properly secured in the stroller during normal use, the stroller suddenly and unexpectedly folded/collapsed with my child inside. There was no warning prior to the collapse, and the stroller appeared to be locked open before the incident occurred.
At the time of the incident, my baby was seated in the stroller and restrained as intended by the product instructions. After the stroller collapsed, my child was startled and upset but fortunately did not sustain visible physical injuries. However, the incident created a serious risk of injury to my child.
Following the incident, the stroller became stuck in the folded position and is no longer usable. I no longer believe the product is safe for use.
I contacted Evenflo directly and provided the requested product information and photos, but I have not received a meaningful response or resolution regarding the safety concern.

First aid Made Mar 10, 2026, sent to the company Mar 13, 2026, published by CPSC Mar 27, 2026
The product, in the report: Evenflo Pivot Xplore Stroller Wagon, green and black, Assembled: 27.5” W x 39.0” H x 45.0” D Folded: 27.5” W x 16” D x 39” H.
I am writing to report a safety concern and injury involving the Evenflo Pivot Xplore Travel Wagon Stroller.
While using the stroller with my child seated inside, the locking mechanism appeared to be fully engaged and secure. The stroller functioned normally while being pushed on flat surfaces.
However, when the stroller encountered uneven terrain, the locking mechanism disengaged and the stroller frame collapsed unexpectedly.
As a result of the sudden collapse, my child fell backward and struck the back of their head on the sidewalk.
This presents a significant risk of serious head, neck, or spinal injury. A major concern is that the locking mechanism can appear visually engaged even when it is not fully secured. Because the stroller continues to function normally on flat surfaces in this condition, a caregiver may reasonably believe the stroller is properly locked.
When the stroller encounters uneven terrain, the lock can disengage and cause the frame to collapse without warning.
Additionally, the design of the stroller positions children facing one another. If two children were seated in the stroller at the time of a collapse, both could potentially suffer head or neck injuries due to the sudden folding motion.
This appears to be a foreseeable hazard and could result in serious injury.
I am submitting this report so the product and its locking mechanism can be reviewed and evaluated for potential safety warnings, design modifications, or recall if appropriate.
Thank you for your attention to this safety concern.

The product, in the report: This is a poorly designed stroller. The safety harness latch button is easily opened by a toddler and then they can either escape from the stroller or fall out.
My 2 1/2 year old grandson was able to OPEN the safety belt on his stroller therefore allowing him to get out of his stroller.

The product, in the report: EvenFlo Pivot Stroller
EvenFlo Pivot stroller uses a spring loaded sliding rear wheel retainer. Under normal usage the very soft mild steel clips wears out within 18 months resulting in rear wheels falling off. Product support closes support request tickets without response. Negligently poor design and build quality. Clip contacts less than 30% of the groove in wheel axel. Wheel axel has a taper in the retaining grove, accelerating wear due to line contact and aiding in wheel disengagement. Wheels fall off during use allowing stroller with strapped in baby to fall over if not held securely at the moment of disengagement.

The product, in the report: This was the mint looking carseat stroller traveling system by evevenflo. Carseat works great, however, the stroller locks in place but once the baby is placed inside the lock becomes undone from the weight. Infant weighed no more then 20lbs at the time.
The strollers locking mechanism releases once the baby is placed inside of the stroller and it starts to re-collapse. I have tried to use it twice and this has happened and my husband has used it once and this has happened. Our concern it if it does this with and infant, how are we going to be able to continue to use it and whether or not it is going to hurt a child when it collapses.

The product, in the report: Evenflo Vive Stroller/Travel system
It was a warmer day so i decided to take my 2 month son outside and take a walk for the first time in our new Evenflow Vive stroller. I put it up and strapped him in and it collapsed on him as he tumbled to the floor in the stroller. I do not think he was hurt but he was definitely scared. He starts crying so I hurried and took him out of the stroller to comfort him. I thought maybe I hadn’t snapped it into place. I grabbed the 2 ends and brought them together harder thinking this would snap it into place better. I then took a walk. When I came back home i lifted the stroller a little and it collapsed again. I called the company and they acted as if they would not take this down a an incident report. I told them how unsatisfied I was with the product and they said they would send me another one only if I packaged up the old one, got online then got on my email. After the 10 instructions on how to replace a product that was defective I was upset and contacted you. How many babies have to get hurt before they recall this product. My son is only 2 months and only weighs 11 pounds. The product says it will carry 50 pounds but I would say this is untrue.

No one hurt Made Sep 2, 2011, published by CPSC Sep 26, 2011
The product, in the report: Evenflo Stroller
Our stroller was purchased in Feb, 2009. When we got the stroller out this spring, we noticed that it was very hard to stear and the one handed operation was in no way possible. After my husband examined the product, it was found that the rear wheels were broken inward on themselves. After contacting Evenflo, they advised me that this product was out of warranty and they would have to charge 1/3 of the cost of the stroller to replace the rear wheels. In investigating this problem, I learned that my stroller was manufactured in November of 2007! Obviously, this product sat in the Walmart warehouse all that time. Eveflo advised that the stroller was only under warranty for 90 days but they could extend it up to a year with a receipt. My concern is that since we live in Ohio, this stroller only got used for approx 9 months total since we had our son. How fast would these wheels have broken down in a warmer climate where it would have gotten much more use. The design is very poor and in our opinion, a safety hazard to babies. The rest of the stroller is in great condition but the rear wheels are falling apart. Please note that since my sone is 2 now, we didnt’ use this this summer until we went to the fair. That is why we did not discover the rpoblem earlier in the spring. Thank you for your time and consideration on this matter.
